Best known as the lead singer and founding member of the Baltimore-based soul-jazz band, Fertile Ground, Navasha Daya has performed throughout the world and has shared the stage with Hugh Masekela, Angelique Kidjo, Chaka Khan, Rachelle Farrell, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, India.Arie, Bilal, Common, Zap Mama, Earl Klugh, Joan Baez, Michael Franti of Spearhead, Run DMC, Anthony Hamilton, Roberta Flack and Cassandra Wilson. As a songwriter, Navasha Daya's compositions have been remixed by the world's top DJs and producers and have been released as recordings.
